How do payments work?
RETREATS: Once you submit your application (see course page), you will receive an invoice for a $300 non-refundable deposit. When you reply to our email, you can choose whether you would like to pay the remaining balance in one or two installments. If you apply 1 month before the retreat date or less, full payment will be due 1 week from your application date.
NON-RETREAT COURSES: Once you submit your application (see course page), you will receive an invoice for the total amount due. If you would prefer to do a $300 non-refundable deposit and pay the rest later, just let us know! We are happy to accommodate.

What is your reschedule/refund policy?
In the event that you are not able to make your scheduled course, we will do our best to reschedule you! We may get you into another scheduled course, or schedule a private course in the Charlotte area.
Unfortunately, there are no refunds for any reason unless cancelled by Songbird Siren Productions. Light rain will not affect us, but rescheduling may occur due to more serious weather conditions.
By booking a course with us, you agree to these terms.
-
What do I need to bring?
We have tails you can wear! Please check the Gear Guide section of our website to see the packing lists for each course.
You will also see course-specific packing list on each course’s page, and you can always email us with any questions!
-
Are your tails size inclusive?
Our adult tails fit 24”-52” waist measurements. Size inclusivity is very important to us. If you need an additional size, please let us know asap so we can have a tail ready for you before your course. All bodies are mermaid bodies!
-
How old do you have to be to take a course?
To take a pre-scheduled course, you must be at least 16 years of age. To attend a retreat, you must be at least 18 years of age. We offer private courses for children as young as 6. The most important thing is that you or your child can confidently swim without a mermaid tail prior to attending a mermaid course.
You are never too old to become a mermaid!

What is your reschedule/refund policy?
Rescheduling can occur with no penalty if Songbird Siren Productions is informed 72 hours before the event. Availability is not guaranteed. Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds unless Songbird Siren Productions changes or cancels the event.
A Safety Assistant will be present with the mermaid(s) at all times. In the event that the mermaid must leave the party for safety reasons, refunds will not be offered and the remaining balance will still be due.
By booking an event with us, you agree to these terms.
-
How do I pay?
We will send an invoice to your email. We take credit card, PayPal, and bank transactions. The first 50% is due within 7 days of booking. A second invoice with the remaining 50% will be sent the day after the event and will be due in 7 days. You may tip at this time if you feel so inclined!

Can I leave my kids with the mermaid(s)?
No. A trusted adult must be present at all times. Mermaids are entertainment, not lifeguards or babysitters.
